2016
This year once again we are happy to support our local community and we certainly would not be able to do this without the support of our wonderful competitors and their families. In 2016 we have donated over $3500.oo to our local community groups.
- RODE R.A.G.E ~ Once again the Solo Comp is supporting our friends from the Rode R.A.G.E team in both the team leader Tony Davidson & our friend Aaron Rivett. Which we have now been a proud sponsor of the teams work for 3 years now. Rode RAGE (Ride Against Greenhouse Emissions) is a group of about 80 students and volunteers based in Ballarat but spread around Victoria, SA, QLD and Cambodia who designs, build and race energy efficient recumbent bikes who raise funds and volunteer their time towards sustainable environmental and social justice programs. - Royal South Street ~ It is a great pleasure to announce that the Solo Comp is the major sponsor of the new section this year ~ Ballaarat Calisthenic Solo to be held on Sunday, October 16th, we shall be donating the full prize money along with the perpetual trophy & replica, Trophy for the winning Coach, HM & HC Certificates.

- RODE R.A.G.E ~ This year our good friend & Duty Tech Aaron, along with their Team Leader Tony Davidson plus other members of the team spent 7 days walking the “Kokoda Trail”. We donated $300.00 towards their venture, it was great to hear about what they experienced along the trip. Please check out their Facebook Page along with their website. I am sure that the Solo Comp will help again in the coming years as our small way to be apart of their ventures helping out the community.

- Camps for Primary Aged Children – Two cost-free weekends camps make a difference in the lives of Ballarat and regional children who are often disadvantaged and who would otherwise not have an opportunity to attend such events.
